About Land-Lease Communities
Some of the communities listed below operate as land-lease communities. This means you own the home itself but lease the land it sits on from the community. Monthly fees typically include things like property taxes, access to amenities, and maintenance of common areas. For many seniors, this model can provide a more affordable way to live in a bungalow community while still enjoying the benefits of a neighbourhood designed for active adults.
